Our dog kennels are housed in a double locked secure building surrounded by trees and pasture. These are semi enclosed facilities, allowing fresh air and sunlight, while still protecting your dogs from the elements.

Kennels range in size from our 16 standard kennels (2500w x 3200d), our 2 mid-size kennels (2750w x 3200d) to our 2 extra large kennels (3200w x 3200d). To give you an indication of size, two border collies can be comfortably accommodated in our standard kennel.

Each kennel has its own fully enclosed sleeping area, which is 1m². This gives the dog a very snug and secure place to sleep that is also warm even in the middle of winter. While the kennel floors themselves are not heated, we have the facility to heat this sleeping area

The kennels themselves are individually locked and have solid concrete brick walls up to a height of 1200. This ensures that there is no physical contact between your dog and another. At Grindelwald Kennels and Cattery we make the safety of your animal a priority.
